Aronia berries
Aronia is a delicious shrub, also known as chockberries is native to North America. Chockberries are resistant to drought,insects,pollution,and diseases.In eastern North America are two well known species red chockberry,and black chockberry plus a purple 'chockberry' which is a hybrid of two.
Aronia uses
Aronia is used as colorant or flavoring agent in beverage and yogurt.Ripe berry juice is semi-sweet,sour,and low vitamin C.In US and Canada Aronia juice concentrate is used in manufactured juice blend.
